It's almost...

Halloween time!

This painting is called "The Littlest Witch and her Hummingbird Familiars".

It will be part of an Arts Walk display in Olympia, Washington October 1 and 2, 2015 at Mixx 96 FM. 

For the painting I used my littlest niece as a model and for the hat was inspired by a picture of a woman from the 1970's wearing an oddly too-tall, floppy-brimmed hat. 

I've honestly been working on this painting (and reworking it, and reworking it...) for a few months but finally sat down for a couple hours this morning to finish a couple parts of it. 

Finally, calling it done  :)
